Back from my OB appt. and the Dr. said the Placenta Previa is a non issue at this point. He said the majority of women have placenta previa if you look at them early enough. He's betting that by my 20 week ultrasound, the placenta will have moved up already. So that's a big relief.

I got to see the baby again. It completely flipped over and is facing the opposite direction than it was last week.

Other than that, the appointment was pretty short. He did the ultrasound, did a pap exam, and that was that.

My next ultrasound appointment will be in 3 weeks at the hospital. This will be the longest amount of time I've gone without seeing the baby since I got pregnant!

NT screening

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Baby @ 11 weeks 6 days! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Tuesday I went to the hospital for my Integrated Screening and Level I ultrasound. It will take a week or two to get the results back. It was the longest ultrasound I've had so far and I loved it because I was able to watch the baby for a good 15-20 minutes. It looks like a boy to me and I think it has definitely inherited Mark's A.D.D. It was jumping around like a jackrabbit the whole time.

The technician also told me that I have Placenta Previa. Instead of the placenta being at the top of my uterus above the baby, it's at the bottom of my uterus under the baby and completely covering my cervix. This could cause problems if it continues throughout my pregnancy, but I have high hopes that it will move up as my pregnancy progresses.

I have to go back in 4 weeks for a follow up ultrasound to see if it has moved at all.

My next appointment with my OB is on Monday so I'll talk to him about it then.
